Musical Washboard
   | Our washboards are made with a stainless steel rub area just like you'll find in quality Cajun rub boards. We've added a bell and a can for percussive variation. The washboard also comes with an adjustable leather strap. Traditionally, washboards were played with whatever was handy. Most often thimbles were used on the fingers but the boards could also be played with wooden kitchen spoons, metal spoons or a whisk broom. Drumsticks and drum brushes can also be employed to create a nice solid rhythm. Both sizes come with bell, can & adjustable leather strap. |
