This Highly collectable 1918 A3 Gibson Mandolin is a beauty and all parts appear to be original.
Features include:
- White top (face)
- Abalone fern inlay on the headstock
- "The Gibson" inlayed on the headstock in Gold Mother of Pearl
- Bound top, back, and fingerboard
- Ebony inlay on the center seam of the back of the neck.
- "The Gibson" and floral design engraved on the tailpiece cover
The action is great. The sound is all you would expect from these amazing oval holed A model mandolins.
The seams are all tight and appear to be in their original state.
There is some arm wear, scuffs and dings on the body.
This Mandolin comes with an old much used alligator grained chip board case.
